Andy Highhouse

Guitar, Bass, Ukulele

Andy is an accomplished professional guitar player. He has been playing since he was 17-years-old and has toured and played professionally for decades. During the 60’s – 80’s, he played in various classic rock groups . He keeps up on all current music and teaches students how to read music and tab as well as how to play by ear. His goal is for his students to have fun playing music like he has for many years.

Sean McJunkin

Piano

Sean is a pianist and accompanist currently attending the University of Redlands School of Music for a Bachelor's in Music with an emphasis in Piano Performance. He plans to continue afterwards in obtaining his Master's in Music with an emphasis in Collaborative Piano. He has been teaching the bulk of JKEAA Music's piano students for a number of years, and is always sure to stress the importance of good technique and musicality.

Cody Smith

Piano, Music Theory

Cody is a pianist, accompanist, and teacher living in Riverside.  A grad of CSU Fullerton, Cody earned his Master's in Piano Performance studying under Dr. Robert Watson. Having been a member of CSU Fullerton’s New Music Ensemble, Cody is an avid performer of new and unique musical works as well.  His previous studies include a Bachelor’s in Music, with an emphasis in Piano Performance, from the University of La Verne studying under Dr. Scott Farthing and Timothy Durkovic, and a Diploma from the Orange County School of the Arts.  He currently works at the Pomona Fellowship Church of the Brethren as the Director of Music, as well as working from his own private home studio.

Devin Martinez

Saxophone, Clarinet, Piano

Devin has been a private teacher for several years since graduating from CSU Long Beach with a Bachelor's of Music,with an emphasis in Jazz Studies, in 2013. Since graduating high school, Devin has been an active performer in all arenas of music including pop, jazz, rock, classical, and Latin, performing in rock bands, small chamber groups, jazz combos, big bands, and symphonic bands.  This includes performing in the House of Blues in Anaheim and Whisky A Go-Go in Hollywood, among others.  Devin has also had the pleasure to perform with renowned composers and musicians such as John Fedchock and Richie Cole.

Travis Schenck

Brass

Travis currently lives and teaches in Riverside while attending school at CSU Fullerton. He is studying to earn a Bachelor's of Music, with an emphasis in Composition, and earned his AA for Transfer with Distinction in Music from RCC in 2017. He is currently a member of the Placentia Symphonic Band, the largest all-volunteer community band in the western United States, and has been playing trumpet for more than a decade, teaching lessons for brass instruments since he was in high school.  He has also performed for a number of TV shows and movies with ensembles. Besides teaching music, he has been a marching band Visual Instructor for King High School, in Riverside, and is currently the main Visual Instructor for Roosevelt High School, in Eastvale.
